The Corvettes

I finally got a picture of Garrett's soccer team with most of the players (1 is missing.) This was halftime at an early game. So far, The Corvettes, are undefeated and developing some big heads off their wins. We truly have some naturals on our team - at least 2 of the boys are extremely good and amaze me weekly. Garrett on the other hand is definitely a 'beginner'. He touches the ball about 3 times/game, but walks away happy. I'm so glad he is enjoying it. BTW, Garrett is the one with sunglasses on.

Happy 6 Months Hudson!!

Well, Hudson is almost 7 months old now, but I meant to post a 'Happy 6 Months' a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, the pictures are from when he was right about 6 months old. So, let's see, what can the baby boy do now that he is half a year old - - almost sit up by himself, eat a variety of baby foods, drool (a lot), and reach for everything in sight. Oh, he found his feet as you see above - another fun free toy.

Sweet 'n Sassy

Karys went to a birthday party last weekend at Sweet and Sassy. It is a fun place for girls to get all dolled up, dress-up in their clothes and prance around on the stage. Here is a picture of her at the party.

Kindergarten Roundup!!

Karys is officially registered for Kindergarten!! The Round Rock ISD had their open registration today. Next year, our neighborhood will have a new school for Garrett and Karys to go to, but we registered at Garrett's current school since the new one is under heavy construction.

Many of you know that I have been struggling with the decision to start her next year or not. She will be old enough, but only by a few days. Infact, her birthday is the day after school starts. I've had many people on both sides of the fence tell me that they were either sooo glad they held their child back or that they started them... As I was filling out the paperwork today, it made me feel better that of the 15 or so questions they ask about her current academics, I was able to check 'yes' to 99% of them. The only thing she couldn't do on the list was actually read.
